    And So It Begins

    Travel plans are afoot. Brandon, one of my best friends back in Charlotte, and I are formulating a trip for sometime in the fall. The shortlist of destinations right now is:

    • Portland, Ore.
    • Austin, Texas
    • San Francisco
    • Montreal
    • Seattle/Vancouver

    We have friends in Portland and Austin. Anyone have recommendations for any destination in particular, even ones that aren’t listed here?

    I was also thinking about a trip to Germany in October, but I don’t think I can reconcile the costs right now. Unless there are some lovely, kind, generous Deutscher out there who want to offer a free place to stay? Ja, Deutschland?

      PORTLAND! PORTLAND! PORTLAND! And you can rent a car and drive to Seattle, and then go back to Portland.

      Rent a car and hit Bangor, Rhode Island and Vermont.

      Fall+New England=Beautiful.

      Just stumbled on your blog while looking at images of Weimaraners… love them. And thought it was funny how similar our locations were - I’m from DC, student at Georgetown, and I’m in Germany right now, on an internship. Unfortunately, I’ll be out of the country and back in the states at the end of August… but if you can make it here, have fun! I have.
